VINTAGE 2 ENGLISH BONE CHINA FLORAL C&S SET COLCLOUGH 6589 & ROYAL STAFFORD 8213

Description

Very nice vintage pair of English bone china teacups with matching saucers which are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or pattern loss (they have only been used for display in a china cabinet).  The sets are:
1.  Colclough China pattern 6589 made in Longton, England - a very attractive spring meadow design with bluebells and yellow, pink and blue mixed flowers with green leaves; has an ornate handle and is completely rimmed in gold on both cup and saucer.  The teacup measures 2 3/4 inches in height and is 3 1/8 inches in diameter at rim, the saucer is deeply indented and is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
2.  Royal Stafford Bone China pattern 8213 made in England - a spring nosegay bouquet pattern with flowers in shades of lavender, pink and blue with green leaves; has an ornate handle and is completely rimmed in gold on both cup and saucer.   The teacup measures 2 3/4 inches in height and is 3 1/4 inches in diameter at rim, the saucer is deeply indented and is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
Colclough China was founded in 1890 and in the 1930s and 1940s produced dinnerware and tea sets that are still sought today.  They were purchased by Royal Doulton in the 1970s and production ceased.  Royal Stafford China had many owners since first produced by Thomas Poole in 1900; however, bone china production ceased in 1992 and little information is available about patterns or names.  I have owned these pieces for many years, only displaying in my china cabinet.  Since I am in process of downsizing I decided to sell.  I have priced very reasonably for English china pieces of this quality and excellent condition.
All items I sell either come from or have been stored in a smoke free environment and are sold “as-is”.
I photograph and describe in detail to the best of my ability.
