    Description

Here is an interesting letter that I sent out in March of 1977 but it never got to the person.  It was sent from Woodland Hills, California on March 15, 1977.  It arrived at Hagerstown, MD on March 18, 1977.  It was forwarded from Hagerstown on March 19 to a Correctional Camp at Jessup, MD where it arrived on March 22.  However, the letter was then returned to the sender (me) since the person was no longer at the facility since he had escaped on February 25, 1977.    The envelope is in fine condition and still sealed.  I have never opened it.
