believe that vintage = dirty. If you do prefer the dust, grime, or soil from age, which I am aware some do, I'm sorry you won't find much of that here ;)
If a cleanable item is dirty, I will take care of it before listing. Of course, I also realize that certain aspects of aging cannot be corrected and are even desirable to collectors, including myself.
Finally, I do not ship used salt and pepper shakers with salt or pepper still in them (if that has happened to you, you'll know what I mean)!

Items are stored in our non-smoking home and do not smell. However, since everything is second-hand, I cannot guarantee their previous environment.
