Two Vintage Windup Tin Toy WW-II Airplanes Marx?

Two vintage windup tin toy airplanes. Marx? Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. They look and are made like Marx toys but there is no brand logo or ID mark on either. . The only ID I can find is on the star emblems on the wings of both it says in tiny print "Made in U.S. of America". Strange phrasing. Are they Japanese knockoffs? They are old toys, not repros, and are completely original. Well made. Fuselages are 5 inches liong, wingspn is 7.5 inches. Both wind up and work-although jerkily. One just runs along, the other has a bar which flips it up every few feet. One is gold finish, is tin with 4 wood wheels, has the rudder missing,  and is the flipper. The other is
brass finish, is tin with rubber wheels and wood tailwheels.  Pilots and props present on both. Both have light creases in wings and fuselages have light scratches.,Otherwise complete and original, no repaint, no rust. I would rate them only fair condition but please see and enlarge photos to judge for yourself. I like everyone satisfied, no regrets. At my wife's "suggestion" I am liquidating my 50 year collection. I am showing .00 shipping. Pay that, but if possible to ship for less I will refund the difference to you at time of shipping unless you want Priority Speed.
