    Description

    SAMUEL T. DANA
This is a signed letter by Samuel Trask Dana (1883-1978),
    who was
dean of the School of Forestry and Conservation
at the University of Michigan from 1927 to 1951. The Dana
Building was named after him. Dana was also at one time
the President of the Society of American Foresters.
The letter is dated October 12, 1964.
This letter is typed on a piece of Dana's stationery.
The letter is somewhat small, about 7" by 6".
    It
    is in very good condition.
The letter is addressed to Roger Harris, a well known collector of
autographs. I am currently selling many signed items that were
originally part of the Roger Harris collection.
