This stunning vase was acquired at an estate sale. It is clearly signed "Galle" and is in the Art Nouveau style. It is made of heavy and opaque cameo glass. The pattern is flowers and leaves. It is carved, etched and enameled.
It has no chips, cracks or restorations that I am aware of.
There are internal bubbles (The artist's experimental technique) which are commonly found and expected in this type of glass work.
After researching this vase, I believe it to be the work of Emile Galle, a French glass artist. He was born 1846 in Nancy France and died in 1904. He was at the forefront and a major force in the Art Nouveau movement.
His style was naturalism and plant motifs.
It has all of the hallmarks described for a "Galle" piece of ar
    t.
It is a gorgeous piece of glass anyone should be proud to own.
