    Description

Manilla envelope hand addressed by Robert Penn Warren 1974. Warren won the Pulitzer Prize both for Poetry and for Literature. His book
    All the King's Men
, also won an Academy Award for Best Picture. The envelope was used to send a book to Warren's long time friend Charles H. Foster. However, Warren made this mailing envelope by taking a used envelope he had received and turning it inside out. The backside of this item is the original mailing sent to him by 20th century American literature scholar Donald Yannella, then teaching at Glassboro State. Measures 7 1/2" x 12 1/4", but would frame slightly smaller due to uneven edges. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
