    ULTRA RARE 1950's NOMURA (TN) Japan Tin Lithographed Friction Powered 'HILLER HORNET' Ram Jet Helicopter in the Original Box. Measures 10" long with a whopping 16" wingspan. Absolutely breathtaking beautiful bright tinplate lithography. Overall excellent+ original condition. Box has some shelfwear. Perfect working order. Hiller Hornet was an American ultralight helicopter built by Hiller Aircraft in the 1950's, and was powered by 2 ramjet engines mounted on the rotor blade tips which weighed 13 lbs each. Was built for the US Army and US Navy in the early 50's.
