This is the first ever full color collector's identification and price guide to the 1970s Palitoy Pippa dolls, fashions and accessories. The book is 24 pages with a pull out checklist to organize your collection. Professionally printed on archival paper and limited to less than 1000 copies. Each book is signed and numbered. This book has been self published and is only available from Cattpigg Press . No other doll or book dealers will have this book available.
This book details 35 different dolls, 198 outfits, the five horse sets, the fold up apartment with all its furnishings, moulded apartment, car, Range Rover, carrying cases and more. Released October 27, 2001.
Pippa was produced by Palitoy from 1972-1980. She is 16cm (6 1/2") and Pippa's birth was probably the result of the demise of the US Topper Toys Dawn doll in 1971. Dawn and Pippa can share everything. Pippa is a quintessentially British girl with all her attendant fashions and accessories. This book is a wonderful way to revisit the 1970s and to help sort out your Pippa collection.
