This listing is for a gorgeous AUTHENTIC Emile Galle' French Cameo Art Glass vase, c. 1900.
This stunning 2-layer vase has beautifully detailed amethyst flowers and foliage carved in relief above the frosted acid-etched cameo glass background. The vase has an elongated design with small neck that rounds out at shoulder s and then widens slightly as it reaches the base where it narrows again at the base. Signed in cameo "Galle" in the background glass rather than in the overlaid layer of glass. Absolutely GUARANTEED to be original.
Measures 6 1/2" high with a 2" maximum width. Weighs 7.5 ounces.
The vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws or repairs. There is an internal streak in the glass above the flowers that is NOT a crack or internal hairline that occurred during production.
