Antique, Victorian piece to add to your fine collection......
The lid is marked "STERLING" with  63 under the hinge and a silversmith mark next to the word Sterling. The lid has a ring on it so this is a chatelaine.
This type of bottle was made to be
used by women and fastened to a belt or pocket, with chains bearing hooks on which to hang small articles such as watches, keys, seals, writing tablets, scissors, and purses.
This beautiful, brilliant cut glass perfume bottle with sterling silver hinged lid. The lid has
a ring for attaching to a chatelaine or neck chain.
COMES WITH its original GLASS STOPPER which is quite rare.
Measures 3.5" long x 3/4" wide.
This wonderful perfume bottle came from an equally wonderful estate.
CONDITION: The condition is excellent vintage. I did not find any chips or cracks. SEE ALL PHOTOS.
