For sale is a collection of 60-year-old letters and photographs that relate to Smith's Tool & Stamping Co. in Evansville, Indiana. One letter, dated August 10, 1956, is from Charles Schrader, director of purchases for Potter & Brumfield Inc. in Princeton, Indiana. It concerns a possible business venture. The other letter, dated December 28, 1956, is from Ray Koch, general manager of Koch Manufacturing Company in St. Louis, Missouri. It asks a Smith's official if the company has experience making iron handle molds. This collection also includes 20 snapshots and a larger photo of products made by Smith's company. The snapshots measure about 4 by 4 inches; the larger photo is 8 by 10 inches. All items are affixed to pages from a ring binder, 8 pages in all, counting both sides.
